Het project situeert zich op de grens tussen performance en plastische kunst. De voorstelling is als een kaleidoscoop van herinneringen door de wijze waarop ze is opgebouwd uit bestaande cinematografische elementen. Gary, het hoofdpersonage van dit fresco, is een door spookbeelden geteisterde crooner. We volgen hem doorheen een CinemaScope-productie waarin we zowel Sinatra en Hitchcock als Busby Berkeley en Alain Resnais tegenkomen.

“GARY” is a tribute to cinema, balancing on the edge between performance and visual arts. It proposes a caleidoscopic vieuw into memory by the manner in which it rearranges existing cinematographic elements. The central figure is a crooner, with his hypnotic voice and his choir of female singers. He eventually turns into a cinemascope production starring hints of Frank Sinatra, Hitchcock and Alain Resnais.
