Have you ever heard voices whispering in the dark? Have you visited a place of infinite sadness? Have you begged the shadows for a friend—or wished the monster under your bed was real? The day of reckoning is near. Ancient ghosts hungry for vengeance are at the corner. Shadows you once met, then forgot, return to reveal their truth.

La Noche de Aparición is a playful horror tale in three acts. A chaotic journey with undocumented ghostly creatures. They come with stories. With laughter. With sorrow. With tenderness. And tonight, they dance.

Created by Désirée 0100 and Lulu Muñoz, La Noche de Aparición is the second installment in a trilogy exploring solitude, intimacy, trauma, the struggles of migration, horror aesthetics, paranormal experiences, Mexicans myths and Latin American pop culture.

Désirée was born in Mexico in 1992. She did her visual art studies in Rennes (France) in 2011 and then moved to Belgium in 2018. Since then she has worked as a performer for renowned creators, developed her own work, and also coached and taught in several schools and academic organisations in Brussels and Flanders. Her work has a strong relationship with magic, gatherings, decolonisation, immigration, and healing.

Born in 1994 in Medellin, Lulu Ramirez Muñoz moved to Belgium in 2016 to study in P.A.R.T.S. where they obtained their bachelor and master degree.  As a performer they have worked in projects such as “Ne Mosquito Pas” by Simon Van Schuylenbergh and “GERMAN STAATSTHEATER” by Rosie Sommers & Micha Goldbergh. As a music composer, they have collaborated with Joshua Serafin for their performance “VOID” (2022), with Nathan Ooms for “Donkey” (2023) and most recently with Mario Barrantes in “Flesh can’t can’ t not’ t ‘tis flesh h” (2024).
