Together with Antigone, NEXT festival, Compagnie Cordial and Overleie Community Centre, we are organising the seventh edition of De Levende Bib. But this time with a twist: you don’t borrow books, but objects. In this case, we’re talking about… The Living Museum.
This edition will take place at ABBY (Begijnhofpark), Kortrijk, on Saturday 25 April from 2 pm to 5 pm. Come and rummage through the display cases and discover objects, faces and stories. The Living Museum is a different version of the Living Library where you choose a conversation partner based on an object. Meet someone with an inspiring story or a special interest.
How can you take part? There are two options:
- Object: No booklets will be produced containing your personal details. Instead, you bring along 1 object. We will place that object in a display case, just like in a museum. Register your object via this link.
- Visitor: Visitors choose an object and strike up a conversation with the person who brought it along. This creates the opportunity for unique conversations. Children at play and their parents, local residents or chance passers-by: everyone is welcome! As a visitor, you do not need to register.
