Myriam starts a new research cycle in preparation of the upcoming creation Nocturnes for a society (2023) in collaboration with Lucas van Haesbroeck. The process involves the invention and exploration of musical scores to sleep, dream and exercise collective empowerment. The process begins with a two-week workshop with the Master students of KASK Drama. In the first week they will work in the Minard in Ghent, and in the second week, they are hosted by Kunstencentrum BUDA.

Myriam Van Imschoot (BE)

Myriam Van Imschoot makes performances and creates sound poetry, vocal pieces, video and sound installations. She creates work for specific public spaces, both urban and rural. She is currently exploring ‘new polyphonies’ and their social and political implications. Van Imschoot is regularly commissioned for voice workshops or workshops on sound poetry with Marcus Bergner.

Lucas van Haesbroeck (BE)

Lucas van Haesbroeck (1981) works as a lighting technician at Toneelhuis, where he has worked with Guy Cassiers, Olympique Dramatique, Mokhallad Rasem, Abke Haring ea. He develops lighting plans and sets for theatre and music productions.
