EMERGE is a platform for cultural and artistic cooperation built with financial support from the Interreg VI France-Wallonie-Flanders programme amounting to €3.29 million. The project has since launched a call to the artistic field and is now happy to announce the selection of 15 companies.
Given the impressive number of applications (no fewer than 136 files were received), EMERGE has decided to accompany 15 companies instead of the planned 12. This only confirms the richness and strength of the cross-border cultural landscape.

Until 2028, each laureate will receive both financial support and tailor-made guidance. The project partners pool their resources and expertise to support the production, dissemination and export of the laureates’ work. EMERGE thus aims to be a lever for artistic daring and excellence while also putting the creations on the European and international map.
The 15 companies will soon start their EMERGE projects. Many residencies, workshops and meetings are planned in the coming months. These activities immediately strengthen and stimulate cooperation and exchange between the various cultural players in the three regions.
