In Venezuela in the late 1950s, nine-year-old Elizabeth’s summer holidays take an unexpected turn when her little brother Leo disappears into the jungle. She must swap her books for courage, not only to find her brother, but also to free a mysterious, furry creature from captivity and return it to the legendary Tepui mountain.
