Sunny Dancer
Seventeen-year-old Ivy doesn’t want her cancer to define her, and she certainly doesn’t want others to see her as a victim. When her parents send her to a ‘cancer camp’, she soon finds herself at odds with the camp leaders’ strict rules. But it is precisely there that she strikes up a friendship with a group of misfits and, unexpectedly, experiences the best summer of her life.
Both funny and touching, this is a heart-warming summer film about friendship, first loves and the urge to live life to the full, with a standout performance by Bella Ramsay.
