During her residency in Buda, Jeanne Colin explores, with the caution of a diver, the possibilities of a somnambulistic dance.
She questions the imprint that dreams leave in our bodies and gestures, the need to go through certain emotions, the return of a motif, the simultaneous experience of deep relaxation and fear.
During that week, she also invites the musician and visual artist Roxane Metayer to work on a possible soundscape for the project.

Jeanne Colin (FR)

Jeanne Colin is a French dancer and choreographer. After her choreographic training at P.A.R.T.S in Brussels, she worked as a performing dancer for various choreographers. Among others, Daniel Linehan, Yasmine Hugonnet, Ayelen Parolin, Romeo Castellucci, Eric Minh Cuong Castaing and Louise Vanneste. Since 2018, she has led her own research and creation projects focused on a dialogue between sensation and imagination. In 2019, she will create the sculptural duet Reception in collaboration with the dancer Killian Madeleine.
