Ze komt (voor het eerst) bij BUDA Kortrijk werken aan de herneming van L’Assaut (De Aanval, 2014), gebaseerd op de tekst L'assaut du sabre ondulant, uit La vie dans les plis (Henri Michaux). De tekst is daarbij een startpunt, een bron voor een zangstem, een oproep om af te wijken, een richting, een weerstand.

Wat er op scène gebeurt, is minimaal – het mislukt, maar is toch moedig. Brutaal, maar ook beangstigend. Wat is deel van wat de auteur schreef, van wat wij lezen, en wat is interpretatie?
L’Assaut is een poging om ons ontvankelijk te maken voor een schriftuur. Wat zijn de resonanties en impact van woorden op gebaren?

Carole Perdereau

Carole Perdereau is a dancer and choreographer. Since the early 2000s, she has created about ten pieces. Her work is particularly interested in the poetics of bodily states. The last piece, in 2023, Ceci n’est pas une danse, was a participative creation created in collaboration with Fred Hocké and Éric Yvelin. From this piece, a new creation is in progress (2026) with seven of the participants.
