Dawn 3.0 is phase 3 of the ongoing artistic research DAWN, exploring one’s identity through the sense of locations and time between cities. The 2-weeks residency will start from a series of 1-to-1 performative workshops with people from all cultural backgrounds, researching the deep map of Kortrijk. In the end, together with the artist’s personal story, the artistic research will be further transformed into a presentation about the land, motherhood and the motherland.

Leung Hoi Yee (Alysa) (HK)

Alysa Leung is a performance maker and dramaturg based in Hong Kong. During her studies for M.A. Contemporary theatre, dance and dramaturgy at Utrecht University, she also participated in NTGENT as a dramaturgy intern and ATLAS, the Choreographic training programme in ImpulzTanz Festival. Her research practice accentuates one’s identity and connections through the art-making process.
