In the trilogy Golden Age, artists Igor Cardellini and Tomas Gonzalez question the foundations of our times. Through a ‘tour’ they guide you like a first-class tourist past banks, offices and shopping malls. They are places we pass by daily but give little attention outside their function. Yet these places are at the heart of globalisation. Based on the architecture of these buildings, the three visits form an archaeological trilogy for the present day, along the strongholds of capitalism, wage labour and consumption.

This participatory experience puts you as a visitor at the centre, together with your group mates. With each step in this extraordinary visit, you get closer to the extraordinary discipline required to reach a pinnacle of history varnished with gold leaf.
