Marah is coming for a 2-week residency, where she wants to go further in her research. In part, she works with sound designer Anton Lambert, where they experiment with the distribution of sound between different speakers.
Marah Haj Hussein (PS)
Marah Haj Hussein (born 1998) is a dancer, actress and creator from Kofor Yassif in occupied Palestine. She currently lives in Antwerp, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in 2021. In June 2023, she completed her master’s degree in Drama at KASK in Ghent.
In 2023, she received the Roel Verniers Prize from Het Theaterfestival, which led to her premiere of Language: no broblem at Het Theaterfestival 2024.
Anton Lambert (BE)
Anton Lambert (born 1997, Belgium) is a Brussels-based double bass player and electronic musician. He studied at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where he obtained a Masters in Jazz in 2022 and a Masters in Live Electronics in 2023. Besides practising as a double bass player in various music ensembles, he collaborates on interdisciplinary projects as a musician and sound designer, accompanies theatre and dance performances as a live musician or creates sound installations for multimedia artworks.
