Marah is coming for a 2-week residency, where she wants to go further in her research. In part, she works with sound designer Anton Lambert, where they experiment with the distribution of sound between different speakers.

Marah Haj Hussein (PS)

Marah Haj Hussein (b. 1998, Palestine) is a Palestinian dancer and creator based in Antwerp. She graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with her dance bachelor’s degree. She is now completing her Master’s degree in Drama at KASK in Ghent. In her own work, she is interrogating the concept of mother tongue.

Anton Lambert (BE)

Anton Lambert (born 1997, Belgium) is a Brussels-based double bass player and electronic musician. He studied at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where he obtained a Masters in Jazz in 2022 and a Masters in Live Electronics in 2023. Besides practising as a double bass player in various music ensembles, he collaborates on interdisciplinary projects as a musician and sound designer, accompanies theatre and dance performances as a live musician or creates sound installations for multimedia artworks.
