Nu sleutelt ze in de BUDA-studio’s aan de choreografische installatie The Extraordinary Way She Moves. Daarin stuwen industriële materie en een menselijke figuur elkaar voort. In bijna niet waarneembare bewegingen transformeert een groot zwart plastic zeil tot een levend, donker landschap. Intensiteit en snelheid vormen, vervormen en hervormen de materie. De kijker wordt uitgedaagd om al z'n zintuigen te gebruiken….

Lisa Vereertbrugghen

Lisa Vereertbrugghen is a Brussels-based choreographer, teacher, dramaturg and researcher. Since 2014, she has been researching hardcore techno dance styles in various formats: performances, lecture-performances, performance installations and publications. She previously worked at arts centre BUDA on The performance formerly known as performance, The Extraordinary Way She Moves and Softcore, a hardcore encounter. While we are here is her first group choreo.
