Marah Haj Hussein (PS)

(no title)

After making the her first work starting from language and text as a departing point, Marah is continuing her research this time for her next piece out of movement. Still playing on the line that blurs the distinguish between words from movements, the research will dive into the complexities of translation: raising questions related to agency and the thin line between translation and appropriation. Using a lot of gestures, using a specific way of singing inspired by Palestinian wedding songs and transitioning its text into the European locality, we wonder how does this body/ these bodies on stage exist and speak for themselves within a context of translating on reality for the other.
