Reenacting NONA is a project about my grandmother, our relationship, and the esoteric will to revive them through another woman. This is the first residency for this experimental and transdisciplinary project, between film and performance. It will therefore be a research and writing residency.

Magdalena Bournot & Thalia Pigier (AR/FR)

Magdalena Bournot is an Argentinian researcher, film and theater director based in Paris. She studied humanities in Barcelona (UPF), theater and film in Lyon (ENS), and wrote a Phd on Latin American Medeas at Université Paris Nanterre, where she has also teached direction, dramaturgy and history of theater. In 2021 she premiered her first feature film, Viaje a la semilla

Thalia Pigier is a performer, choreographer and director and holds a master’s degree in dramaturgy from the Ecole Normale Supérieure. She trained in acting at the 19th Conservatory and in directing at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She then developed an artistic research based on improvised performance which began with a residency at the EXERCE program and continued at the Tictac Art Centre. After working for different choreographers, she created her own company, Projet Total.
