In this residency, David Marques and Nuno Pinheiro continue their research. They look at the encounter between their skins and the relationship between gestures and spoken word. They focus on building and occupying a space.

David Marques & Nuno Pinheiro (PT)

David Marques began developing his choreographic work in 2008 with the support of EIRA. He splits his time between Portugal and France, where he has collaborated as a performer with choreographer Loic Touzé since 2014. His piece Mistery of Culture (2019) was awarded the SPA Author Prize for Best Choreography.

Nuno Pinheiro was an actor in residence at Teatro da Garagem between 2009 and 2017. He worked in theatre with João Mota, Teresa Coutinho, Maria João Vicente and Tiago Vieira, among others. He co-founded the organisation Parca with Marques.
