For Mooni and her team, these residency weeks at BUDA are the last three weeks before the premiere. That will take place during Almost Summer, a Feminist Futures Festival at arts centre BUDA. So they will work on the lighting and on finishing the performance. In addition, the finishing touches will be put on dramaturgy, choreography and performativity

Mooni Van Tichel (BE)

Mooni Van Tichel has a background in hiphop, house, and breaking. In 2021 she graduated from P.A.R.T.S. with a master’s degree in contemporary dance. Her graduation solo Deep Nyx was presented at Festival Cement, Amsterdam Fringe Festival and Moving Futures Festival. She is also a member of the collective leprojetgeo, which organises activities related to physical connection, touch, and dance with the residents of care home Bellevue in Forest. Since 2023, Mooni is house artist at workspacebrussels as part of a three-year development project.
