During this residency, Robbe Vandenven and his team will explore together how to rework the improvisational material into more delineated scenes. In doing so, they will create a fictional world using the correspondence between Meyerhold and Stanislavski as a basis. Furthermore, they will work on the scenography and music.

Robbe Vandenven (BE)

Robbe Vandenven is a master’s student in drama at KASK in Ghent. Throughout his studies and through projects by Femke Gyselinck, Estefanía Álvarez Ramírez, Jonathan Burrows a.o., he discovered a great fascination for movement and choreography. In his own work, he explores the boundaries of language and movement in relation to abstraction.
