In BUDA, Khadija comes to rehearse at The Waves. It is the second week of a series of different residencies. During the residency, they will work on creating different scenes and continue to explore public spaces, examining how they can reconfigure existing ones with their presence.

Khadija El Kharraz Alami (BE/NL)

Khadija El Kharraz Alami (1987) graduated from the Utrecht School of the Arts in 2014. In her work, she depicts man in search of identity, and failing to do so. She explores how man embarks on the unknown in search of himself, finds love and peace in solitude. She is currently a resident artist at De Singel in Antwerp and since 2017 has been associated with Productiehuis Theater Rotterdam as a maker.
