A mini concert … for one single person
Is it a consultation, a tête-a-tête or a musical session? One thing is certain: this 7-minute one-on-one concert invites you to make contact with what is near and what is far, using your ears. Although you will be separated from the performer, who wears a red beard and carries an old-fashioned ear trumpet, Le Chant du Psychophone still promises to be an intimate experience. Antonia Baehr invites you to a special sensory experience, which transcends ‘social distancing’.
Antonia Baehr’s work explores the fiction of triviality and of theatre, among other themes. Currently, Baehr is collaborating with Latifa Laâbissi and Jule Flierl, who were both guests at the NEXT Festival. Other fascinating collaborations are those with dancer and horse whisperer Werner Hirsch, musician and choreographer Henri Fleur and composer/performer (and ex-husband) Henry Wilde. With Le Chant du Psychophone, Baehr continues her choreographic and performative research into face and faciality.
