Faune/ in the garden

Faune/ in the garden is an in situ project, initiated by Laura Kirshenbaum in collaboration with the dancer Lisanne Goodhue and the musician Myriam Pruvot. This project is happening in and inspired by botanical gardens. During this residency Lisanne and Laura will work in Buda’s garden, where they will continue developing the physical and dramaturgic aspects of the work, together with the artist and outside eye on this project, Talia de Vries.
Laura Kirschenbaum / Golden hands (IL/FR)
Laura Kirshenbaum (IL/FR) is an Israeli dancer and choreographer based in Montpellier, France since 2016. She holds an MA in choreography from the ‘exerce’ program (2016-2018) and studied dance in several formal and informal settings. Since finishing her studies, she has been creating her own projects, working as a dancer with other choreographers, accompanying others in their own creative processes, teaching in several dance and choreographic frames. Laura Kirshenbaum approaches the worlds of choreography and performance as platforms through which processes of learning and knowledge sharing are taking place. She promotes different kinds of collaborative modalities and is interested in encounters where a reciprocal exchange is practiced and manifested .
