FERAL includes a series of four staged, contrasting landscapes, designed by the dancers themselves. The stage becomes successively a void, a dump, a synthetic desert and a horizon. The performers change from garish, deviant figures to lifeless, hollowed-out surfaces. Lydia McGlinchey developed pieces of textiles used in the scenography, paying attention to texture and different volumes and perspectives.

Lydia Mcglinchey (°1998) was born in Sydney, Australia. She is currently working as a performer and maker, living in Brussels. Lydia is trained in dance/performance, yet she also works with textile/fiber art.
