The first week at BUDA they work with Alessio Castelacci on body and voice, exploring the practice of jamming as a way to investigate and explore the movement material and create a non-linear narrative and storytelling within the performance. The second week they dedicate to the issue of self-care as a practice and how it can infiltrate and change the systems and structures we live in and update our daily way of functioning and contribute to new ways of understanding.

Landing on Feathers – Rehearsing the Not Yet is a first collaboration, born from the reflection on relations to the Other and ways of care and proximity. After the short documentary film Landing on Feathers which was created with a team of committed artists and caretakers in summer 2021, there was the desire to continue and extend the project. Jija Sohn, Julia Reist and Aleksandra Lemm in collaboration with Nica Roses and Elmer Kouwenberg, explore physical and conceptual approaches, looking deeper into the notions of inclusivity, fluidity and compassion within relationships to oneself and community.
