“While working on the Laurent project, I decided to show a live model, a naked man, for a few minutes. He is both a living model and an object of desire. The first financial offer I made while looking for the dancer was below the minimum legal salary. I made this proposal without thinking, in relation to the duration of his performance, the economy of the project, the working conditions that I have already accepted as a dancer and my own salary.
From this mistake, we started a money-themed correspondence, in relation to the dance field but also as an object of desire and a symbol of power.
In BUDA, we will research about the status of word end dance. What is supposed to be said, what is supposed to be readen. How dance and performer cohabit with this words.

Aude Lachaise lives in Paris. Performer, writer and choreograph, she works on transversality between dance and textual writing.
The artistic experience is seen as a factor of personal and collective emancipation. Identity and intimacy are used as materials for new political gestures and narratives.
