CUBO

“We’re too close to the fire to see what’s burning”. This, according to Katerina Andreou, is the phrase that best describes her current state of confusion in the face of a world losing its bearings. Fuelled by energy and surrounded by three performers, she sets out to find a new impetus to combat distress and chaos. The choreography and sound work are imbued with an irrepressible desire to act and react. From this ferment, Katerina Andreou seeks to bring forth a creative force for change.

Katerina Andreou is a Greek dancer and choreographer living in France. She created the solos A kind of Fierce (2016), BSTRD (2018); the duet Zeppelin Bend (2020), with Natali Mandila; and the solo Mourn Baby Mourn (2022). She is associated artist at CCN de Caen en Normandie for the years 2022-2025 and in the Master Program EXERCE in CCN de Montpellier.
